Ingredients:
Black pepper (coarsely ground, to taste)
2 Tbsp unsalted butter
2 Tbsp good quality olive oil
Kosher salt (to taste)
4 filet mignon steaks (tenderloin steaks should be 2-inch thick)

Instructions:
